Continuing Education

Continuing Education!

June completed a technical degree (Master Barber), which she is very proud of having accomplished.  She has also completed some college courses, but was never able to afford to complete a degree.  But she loves learning and has not let her lack of formal, verifiable education hold her back.

June is self-taught in almost everything she does. For years she learned mostly reading books and online tutorials and through trial and error.  However, due to the miracles of the internet and the invention of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), over the past few years she has had the opportunity to continue her education through auditing online, college level courses from some of the best colleges and universities around the world.

Taking these free courses (some offer certificates for a fee) has enabled June to expand her design and consultation offerings and become more confident in her writing.  But most importantly, they have provided her with the joy of continuing to learn and further her education.  Yes, she freely admits that she is a nerd.
