Eat the Damned Cupcake

Work In Progress

Eat the Damned Cupcake (a working title–could change) is a collection of essays, personal stories, and anecdotes in which June shares lessons she’s learned but wishes she’d learned earlier in life, and just basically gives her unvarnished and unfiltered opinion on a few things.

Women's Truth Project Series- Tell Your Story…

Eat the Damned Cupcake is a part of the Women's Truth Project Series. In Eat the Damned Cupcake, I give my opinions and views on many subjects.  However, I realize that my voice is just one of many.  I'd like to YOUR stories and thoughts on certain subjects. At the end of certain chapters/topics, I'll be including user submitted stories about the topic.

Use the list and form below to submit a story or opinion relating to one (or up to 3) of the topics listed.

These are just a few of the topics I'll be touching on in *Eat the Damned Cupcake.  You can also suggest a topic and go ahead and leave your story/advice for that topic.

  • Real family is made of love.— Not all families are blood. Some are made. SHARE your experience with a “made” family.
  • It is possible to be loved when you don’t love yourself—but it’s also easier to mistake bad treatment as love when you feel like you deserve it.—SHARE your advice or experience on the topic
  • “Be Yourself”– It is my opinion that this is both good AND bad advice.  In theory, it's a wonderful thing. But the complexities of truly being yourself in reality are often less wonderful.  What are your experiences or thoughts on the subject?
